‘our aim is to be the visible expression of God’s love for all people,
here and in the community of Rhiwbina’

Open to Christ - Open to all - Open to our changing world

Beulah is an outward looking church, interested in Rhiwbina and concerned about the wider world. We describe our style of church life as liberal but lively encouraging participation in worship in which we mix traditional hymnody and new music from the world church. We encourage a thoughtful faith, questioning and exploring together what we understand the Bible and faith means today.

We have adopted a range of worship patterns. Our main service is Family Worship on a Sunday morning. This gathers all ages together, there is a Junior Church catering for all ages and we have a crèche. The service lasts an hour and a quarter or so and there is coffee after the service.

In addition to these service on a Sunday there are two other mid-week services. Meeting Point is primarily a gathering where we share readings for the week and pastoral news.

Welcome to Beulah

Beulah Church affirms that Christ welcomed all into his company without exception. He did not judge who people were, though he challenged how people behaved towards each other.

We believe God calls all kinds of people to work and witness in his name and we want all to feel welcome and included in all aspects of Beulah’s life and leadership.

We acknowledge that we have not always lived up to Christ’s standard of warmth and welcome. But, we testify that when his Spirit is at work amongst us we are a people offering care and compassion to all-comers.
Thus we welcome you to Beulah and invite your contribution to the life of faith here in Beulah and beyond.

Message from the Elders

We hope this website gives you a useful insight into what goes on in Beulah and what kind of congregation and people we are.

We think you will find us a friendly and relaxed group of people. Some people have been coming here for years and some people are new. We try to make church life as varied and rich as we can and we are open to new ideas as we discern what and who Christ is calling us to be.

This website explains more about what goes on here and how to contact us to find out more. A lot is happening through the Church, in the Whittaker Lounge and in our community centre, ‘Canolfan’. We hope you find the information you need here and trust that if you come you will feel we have given you a true picture of ourselves.
